Studio Gay creates fitness programs and training communities that center and celebrate queer people. Through 1:1 training, small-group fitness and hybrid coaching, Studio Gay helps people build strength, move with joy and feel great in their bodies.
It’s a cold, hard world out there. Too often, we’re made to feel insufficient – not big enough, not thin enough, not buff enough, not fit enough. Studio Gay is all about celebrating what you’ve got while helping you work towards what you want. The point is to get fitter, yes, but also to experience more pleasure in your body. Blending sport science education with lived queer and trans experience, Head Coach Nici creates workouts that are playful, sexy and accessible while building real strength and sustainable routines. And it wouldn’t be called Studio Gay if the playlists weren’t 🔥
Beyond helping clients figure out and achieve their individual fitness goals, Studio Gay offers queer folks a chance to sweat together outside da klerb (or the sauna 😏). Through hybrid training communities that blend in-person and online interaction, it allows people with different needs, schedules and lifestyles to connect, motivate, bish and dish. Studio Gay wants you to celebrate yourselves – and each other.
Also on offer are queer-coded training plans, fitness retreats, workshops and more. In addition to its own programs, Studio Gay also shares knowledge and tools with other coaches, gyms and companies, helping to create a fitness culture that is truly inclusive, accessible and empowering for all.
STUDIO GAY VOLUME I
An 8-week training program designed specifically with your s*x life in mind. Flexible, friendly and fun, the program combines one-on-one coaching, adaptable workouts and community care – all designed to up your confidence and your game. Whether you want to be a harder bottom, a softer top or a more flexible switch, Studio Gay’s got you covered.
Focus is on strength, hypertrophy, mobility and flexibility.* Goal is to gain more confidence, stamina and control – in the bedroom and beyond. Think hip thrusts and groin stretches; wrist curls for improved arm pumping; shoulder stability drills so you can hold yourself up longer. Added bonus? More joy and pleasure in your body! And a cute community of queers to boot.
THE DEETS
You get a training plan with two workouts per week – one you can do at home, one that requires access to a gym. The workouts are pre-loaded to your Studio Gay app, including detailed video instructions, so you can track workouts and weights – and so Coach Nici can monitor your progress.
You do the workouts on your own time, according to your own (work-party-recover-repeat) schedule. If you like flying solo, you hit the gym solo. If you prefer gym buddies, you reach out to your training group to see if schedules, geographies and gym memberships align.
Wait – what’s your training group? A WhatsApp group with you, Coach Nici and nine other queers. It’s where your coach drops text, audio and video messages throughout the week to get you motivated to do your workouts. It’s where you share progress, setbacks, pics, hot tracks or crushes you’re daydreamin’ about to get you through those last reps. It’s where you find and create a training community.
Studio Gay App Overview
If you’ve got questions about form, or just wanna make sure you’re doing an exercise right, you film yourself and submit to Coach Nici. They’ll give you feedback within 24 hours. If you’re up for it, you’re encouraged to share vids in the group chat so there can be a group learning moment. If you’re shy, no problem – just send your videos to Coach Nici privately.
Every two weeks, you’ll have a personal check-in with Coach Nici to discuss progress, celebrate wins and make adjustments. When the program ends, we’ll all get together as a group to have a lil chill hang– either in person, online or hybrid, depending on what works.
Last but not least: you’ll get a Studio Gay tee and a bunch of hot playlists and setlists to workout to. It wouldn’t be called Studio Gay if the tracks weren’t 🔥and the merch weren’t cute.
ONE PROGRAM, TWO GROUPS
There will be two training groups: HARD and SOFT. Training plans are similar, the difference is in the vibes.
Pick HARD if you like it hard. If you want a training style that leans tough. Think “get your ass in gear, bish,” if you miss a workout. Think “get your sh*t together, girl” if you’re too hungover to self-motivate. Playlists will be techno-dominant. Group vibes will be sweaty, no-excuses and a little unhinged.
Pick SOFT if you like it soft. If you want a training style that leans gentle. Think “that’s ok, you’ll hit it tomorrow cutie,” if you miss a workout. Think “you got this babe,” if you’re too hungover to self-motivate. Playlists will be house-dominant. Group vibes will be sweaty, sexy and simmering.
