Coaching, programs & consulting

Strength, designed differently.

Queering fitness is not one service. It is how we build all of them.

Studio Gay designs strength training experiences for individuals, groups and organisations—from personal coaching and online programs to group fitness concepts and complete gym systems.

Personal Coaching

Your body. Your goals. Your vibe.

Strength training built around your life—not a template. Together, we define what you want from training, build an individual plan and adapt it as your body, schedule and priorities change.

The work can be demanding, playful and deeply specific. Strength is the foundation, with mobility, stretch, feedback and confidence built into the process.

Group Fitness

Designed for the room.

Studio Gay creates and delivers group strength classes with clear structure and enough adaptability for different bodies, abilities and training histories.

Hard workouts do not require humiliation, confusion or bootcamp theatre. Great group coaching can be intense, technically strong, social and genuinely fun at the same time.

Online Programs

Coaching that travels.

Progressive online strength programs with the feedback, structure and community people need to keep returning.

The workouts matter. So does the system around them: clear programming, direct coaching, app-based delivery and a group that keeps the process alive beyond the screen.

Consulting & Experience Design

Great classes do not happen by accident.

Studio Gay helps gyms, studios and organisations define what makes their strength offering different—then builds the systems that allow coaches and teams to deliver it consistently.

The work can begin with one class idea or extend into a complete coaching system: program architecture, progression, class design, coach education, onboarding and implementation.

The Studio Gay approach

Queering fitness shapes how we coach.

Whether Studio Gay is working with one person, a group, an online community or an entire gym, the same principles guide the programming, feedback and environment around the training.

Less shame. More capability. Good coaching should help people feel challenged, supported and increasingly able to make training their own.
01

Design for inclusion

Build meaningful options into every workout so different bodies, abilities and experience levels can participate and progress.

02

Reinforce before correcting

Start with what is already working, then invite the next adjustment from a place of confidence.

03

Invite challenge

Encourage people to try more through choice, clear feedback and coach support—not pressure.

04

Design for individual progress

Use progression, intensity and programming that respond to the individual, even within a shared class.

05

Teach, don’t just train

Give people the knowledge, skills and confidence to understand their training and make decisions for themselves.

06

Design for joy

Music, humour, encouragement and pleasure help make training something people actually want to return to.

07

Honour individual goals

Strength, health, aesthetics, confidence and gender affirmation can all be valid reasons to train.

08

Cultivate body awareness

Help people notice, understand and reconnect with their bodies through movement, curiosity and trust.

09

Create connection

Design coaching environments where people feel seen, supported and part of something.
